Could you be stranded on the roles of community involvement? Here are some of the significances of community development.

The first importance of community involvement is that you can share opinions. Most times you find out that there are those factors that will bother you as a community. Security, lack of water or electricity among other are some of the things that can affect the community. The things that disturb you as a community or even personal lives can be discussed. Some people share valid ideas that when implemented the community can move far. It is important that once opinions are shared, you implement them with immediate effect so as to take effect to the public. Sometimes it happens that some communities cannot come together and share ideas on how to handles the happenings. In this case, those persons with low understanding will end up disadvantaged. When you make decisions together, it will be much easier to arrange them in order of preference.

Community involvement enables the public to obtain new information. Projects will always be carried out in your community and they will enact knowledge to the people. Different people will give suggestions on how the project ought to be implemented. A project will need a lot to be done in the area. If you share the information to the people, they will come up new ideas of doing things. They will be in a position to learn more on new things that they did not know.

The third significance of community involvement is the feeling of ownership. It feels good when you started a project as a community and it comes to completion. The issues that arise and decision making will be all about the community because they did it as a whole.
